Help finding the right size bike and right type of bike for your fit and your goals is just one of the many benefits of working with us.
Using your current fit we'll look at the geometry of the bike/bikes you're interested in and help pick the one that will work best. This is important for all bikes but even moreso for tri/tt and integrated bikes with less adjustment or fixed stems.

Heart Rate is a valuable tool in training but it's important to remember its limitations.
Sleep, caffeine, fatigue, temperature and more all affect HR to a degree. Meaning the actual physiological effort can vary for the same HR.
Here is a plot of HR over a period of a six hour ride plotted against time, temperature and power. Power stayed the same as did perceived effort of the rider.
We can see HR climb throughout the ride but not because the rider is going any harder. In situations like this it's important to be able to listen to your body and perceived effort over just HR and/or power. There are times where HR or power should drive an effort but we should keep the goal in mind when we do.
